Welding and Fabrication Overview

Universal Wolf is renowned for our expertise in welding and fabrication. Qualified to ISO 9001 and ISO 3834, we produce high-quality sheet metal fabricated products to your exact standards. Our comprehensive specialist welding and fabrication facilities allow us to work with a diverse range of customers – our CSWIP-certified colleagues have experience spanning a diverse range of industries, from industrial and transport to security and defence to clean technologies. We specialise in welding low to medium gauge material, in mild steel, stainless steel and aluminium – though we can work outside of that remit, too.

In addition to our welding and fabrication capabilities, we provide a serial production service so we can deliver every product to your exact timescale.

The Pack Approach

Our welding and fabrication teams fabricate quality products that deliver for your business. To ensure we can meet the needs of any project large or small, we continuously invest in our capabilities and equipment. We are constantly asking ourselves how we can do better, work smarter and add more value to our people. Our company values that are imperative where welding is concerned. Good welding is about more than aesthetics – it goes deeper into the structure of the weld and is about ensuring a proper structural and mechanical foundation. That means looking at the welds and assessing them in line with quality standards such as BS EN ISO 5817 and BS EN ISO 10042.

We adhere to strict quality standards and always ensure your products aren’t just manufactured perfectly once – but can be made time and time again. When our welds meet the requirements of the standards and are clean and mechanically sound, we can be confident in the product we are supplying to our customer.

We build long-term supply partnerships with our customers. By creating dedicated manufacturing cells for products, we can tailor our service to suit your requirements and become a virtual extension of your business.

Boosting Performance in Sheet Metal Fabrication

Our power of the pack philosophy is intrinsic to every part of our job. We help each other. If we have a challenge, we pull together to get it done, from winning the project to shipping it out. That makes working at Universal Wolf more rewarding than other companies because our people don’t succeed on their own – we succeed as a pack.  We apply that pack philosophy to our New Product Introduction (NPI) process. It helps us to not only understand what a customer wants, but find ways to do it better. That may include new technologies or new welding fabrication techniques – but we ensure we work in the customer’s best interests.

“At Universal Wolf, we look to the future. Our Grow Your Own programme is designed to train people and help them get to the next level of their career. It helped me reach the position of supervisor, so I know from experience that it really does work. It not only helps your own personal growth but also creates a better, stronger company for the long-term. And that is ultimately, what the power of the pack is all about.”
