We are pleased to announce that we have been shortlisted in two categories at the Make UK Regional Awards 2020 (North East, Yorkshire and Humberside).
Universal Wolf have been shortlisted in the ‘Manufacturing Matters’ category. This award is focused specifically on companies and/or collaborations that responded to the unprecedented challenges the UK public faced, as a result of COVID-19.
Universal Wolf worked to manufacture bed frames for the NHS Nightingale Hospitals in Birmingham and Glasgow, delivering these in record time. We also worked hard to make our work spaces COVID-secure, and to protect both our colleagues and our business from the potential future impact of COVID-19.
We are also delighted to have two of our apprentices shortlisted in the ‘Manufacturing Apprentice: Rising Star’ category. Best of luck to Ryan Healy, Fabrication and Welding Apprentice, and Lewis Glover, CNC Machining Apprentice!
Congratulations also go to our sister company Tharsus, who have shortlists for the Manufacturing Matters, Apprentice of the Year: Rising Star, and Final Year Apprentice categories.
