Dual Triumph for Universal Wolf

We’re delighted to share a great result for Universal Wolf. Last week we secured two hotly contested prizes at the Northumberland & Tyneside heat of the North East Business Awards 2019.

Our first win came in the Manufacturing category, against our sister company and close neighbour Tharsus, and Formica, based in North Shields.

Rivals became team mates for the second award. Tharsus and Universal Wolf united as Tharsus Group to successfully challenge Aspire Technology Solutions and Transmission Dynamics for the prestigious title of Company of the Year.

There were delighted cheers when each result was announced and our Managing Director Patrick Macdonald picked up the first award, with our Chief Executive Brian Palmer collecting the second.

Patrick said:

“We are working hard to transform our business following our rebrand, and have made significant progress during the past year.

Universal Wolf and Tharsus Group are now headed for the grand final at Hardwick Hall on the 16^th May. They will face off against the winners of the Durham, Sunderland & South Tyneside awards and the Teesside Business awards, held on the 14^th and 28^th of March respectively, to be named the overall champions for 2019.
